1. Who we are
tbsbookshop ("we", "us") is a digital bookstore operated by The Believer's Spot, registered in Nigeria. By creating an account or buying a book, you agree to these Terms.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your password safe. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.
3. Buying books
All prices are in Nigerian Naira. Payments are processed by Paystack — we never see or store your card details. Once a purchase clears, the book is added to your library and available to read in your browser.
4. Refunds
You can request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have read less than 20% of the book. See our Refund Policy for details.
5. Authors and royalties
Authors keep 85% of net revenue on every sale. We retain 15% to cover hosting, payment processing, support and platform development. Payouts are sent biweekly to a verified Nigerian bank account, with a minimum payout threshold of ₦5,000.
Authors must complete KYC (legal name, address, government ID) and accept the Author Publishing Agreement before publishing.
6. Copyright enforcement (strict)
Uploading copyrighted material you do not own is strictly prohibited. On a confirmed report:
- The infringing listing is removed immediately.
- All revenue earned from the infringing book is paid to the verified rightful copyright owner.
- The offending account is terminated and the author is banned from publishing on tbsbookshop.
To report infringement, use our DMCA / copyright form.
7. Acceptable use
You may not redistribute, re-upload, scrape, or share books from your library. Each purchase is for personal, non-commercial reading only.
8. Liability
We provide the service "as is". To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect damages.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
